Sustainability

Today, this term has become almost commonplace, yet many do not know what these phrase really means.

Sustainable development refers to a process of development that meets the needs of the present without reducing the ability of future generations to meet their own needs (Brundtland Report, 1987, UN).

It is important to emphasize that it is a matter of meeting needs, not the greed.
By development we do not mean growth in size, since development is really not equal to the concept of growth, although in economic terms the two are sometimes mistakenly confused.
